ARCORES International and Filipinas partners with USJ-R INFECOP for outreach program

CEBU CITY-On September 23, 2022, USJ-R through INFECOP and in partnership with ARCORES International and Filipinas conducted Project Tabang Sugbu: Phase 2 for the typhoon Odette victims of Olango Island, Lapu-lapu City, Cebu.  The project was composed of the following activities: distribution of ARCORES Bags of Hope (Educational Assistance), Value Formation on Stewardship of Creation, and Session on Safety Tips against Calamities and/or Disasters. The beneficiaries of the program were more than 200 children and parents coming from barangays Caw-oy, Bonbon, Banago, and Ibabao of Olango Island.

Warmest gratitude to the following sponsors of the project: ARCORES International for the 200 pieces of Bag of Hope with school supplies; and USJ-R Faculty Association, Inc., USJ-R Multipurpose Cooperative, and Office Professionals of Accounting Office for the snacks of the children.
