Musica Sacra

Last August 12, the Recoletos Friars showcased again their ‘Tatak Recoleto’ singing talents in the Basilica of San Sebastian. It is a big challenge for the performers  to play with the acoustics of the all-steel church and to go against the banging of the very strong rain passing the metropolis. But the concert pushed through and also with an outpour of people supporting both Sacred Music and the restoration and preservation of the Basilica which is now celebrating it’s 125th anniversary of foundation. The concert was spearheaded by the Recoletos de Manila community who invited OAR singing priests all around the Philippines. They are accompanied by the Recoletos Coristas of Mira-nila, as well as some distinguished guests such as the Rosa Mystica Choir and Mr. John Laseca.
