Fr. Celiz celebrates his silver sacerdotal anniversary

Rev.  Fr. Eduardo Celiz, Jr. OAR will be celebrating his 25th sacerdotal jubilee on August 25, 2016.  He will be concelebrating at the Thanksgiving Mass with his co-jubilarians at the Our Lady of Consolation Parish in Miranila, Quezon City on the 25th.

August 28, feast of St. Augustine, Fr. President will celebrate “Paghili-ugyon” in his home parish of St. Michael the Archangel, San Miguel, Iloilo.  The program for the day starts with a Volleyball match for women between UNO-R and Central Philippine University at 9 am and a Basketball match between UNO-R and University of San Agustin at 10:30 am at the San Miguel Gym.   Thanksgiving Mass will be at 4 pm at the parish Church and Dinner-for-a-cause  with OKM (original Kinaray-a music) concert at 6 pm.

On August 30, a Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated with the UNO-R community at the Oratory of St. Nicholas of Tolentino.  Silver Anniversary program and fellowship follow at the President’s Hall.

Proceeds from the celebration will go to the on-going reconstruction project of the St. Michael the archangel parish in San Miguel, Iloilo.

Joining the Fr. President in celebrating their silver jubilee in the Holy Order of Priesthood are:   Rev. Fr.  Jose Leopoldo Estioko, OAR ( former UNO-R Treasurer and alumnus of UNO-R);  Rev. Fr. Carmelo Borces, OAR;  Rev. Fr. Gaudencio De Mesa, Jr., OAR;  Rev. Fr. Jose Fortunato Garces, OAR;  and Rev. Fr. Nemesio Tolentin, OAR (SSC-R, Manila President).  They were ordained  by His Excellency Gian Vincenzo Morini, D.D., Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, in Our Lady of Consolation Parish Church, August 25, 1991.
