La Virgen del Carmel de San Sebastian visits SEMoNoRe
ANTIPOLO CITY – The community St. Ezekiel Moreno Novitiate –Recoletos received a visit of the image of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in the afternoon of November 18, 2017.
The Prior of SEMoNoRe, Fray Bernabe Dosdos, OAR led the community in welcoming the Virgin and the Secular Augustinian Recollect Frathernity-San Sebastian Basilica Chapter who accompanied the Lady of Carmel. A solemn procession took place from the seminary gate to the seminary chapel while singing “Bulaklak ng Carmelo.”
Rev. Kenneth Pahamutang, OAR led the whole congregation during the Novena Prayer and the singing of Salve Regina and Ioseph. Present were the SARF, Recollect Augustinian Youth, Confraternity of Recollect Altar Servers Antipolo Chapter, and lay parishoners.
The Celebration of the Holy Eucharist was presided by Fray Leopoldo V. Estioko, OAR together with Fray Roland Cepe, OAR, and Rev. Kenneth Pahamutang, OAR, as homilist.
Fray Estioko, before giving the final blessing, expressed his gratitude, saying: “When I was a Parish Priest of San Sebastian Basilica I was the one visiting Our Lady of Mt. Carmel de San Sebatian. I felt so blessed and grateful this time, because it is the Virgin of Carmel who pays a visit to our Community.”
