STEP Staff represents Philippines in TJYLC 2019
Bacolod City, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL–Mr. Elmeer Meeynard Calimpos, staff at the Special Technological & Educational Programs (STEP ) was selected to be one of the 550 delegates from 110 countries to join in the Telangana Jagruthi International Youth Leadership Conference (TJIYLC) 2019 at Hyderabad, India last January 18-20, 2019. Calimpos is the only Filipino delegate in the conference. He is spirited, humble and dynamic when sharing his stories of love, legacy and leadership in the international stage. Children are dearest to his heart and most of his causes embrace children, like what his philosophy which says “It is better to build up a child than to repair an adult.” TJIYLC 2019 was a great opportunity for him to widen his partnerships and collaborations for his founded organization, Bacolod CORE. TJIYLC is a partnership- driven program for young leaders across the world that can make a positive impact in their communities and the world at large through the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals. TJIYLC brings together leaders from different walks of life and serves as a point of confluence for young professionals, students, innovators, and policymakers to come together and build consensus around SDGs and other critical development agenda.
