Capobres stepped up for a W against JRU

MANILA–After 3 consecutive losses, the San Sebastian Golden Stags survived the surge of JRU, Thursday, October 3, at the Filoil Arena.

Alvin Capobres led the team with a score of 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists with the support of JM Calma with a double-double of 12 points, 19 rebounds, and 0 assists.  The two teamed up to help the team during their game struggles from the 2^nd up in the 4^th quarter.

In addition, RK Ilagan got 11 markers, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, while Rommel Calahat added 8 markers and 11 rebounds.

Winning against the Heavy Bombers was a much-needed win for the Golden Stags so that they could stay on the top 4.

Nonetheless, the San Sebastian Golden Stags’ game showed how tough they went through to get the needed win against Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers.
