In Pictures: SCORES 2019 Day 2


Cañacao, CAVITE CITY–Day two of the 34th Students’ Congress of Recollect Schools commenced by a symposium at the Cañacao Campus Auditorium. After the welcome remarks from the Director of Basic Education, Fray Samuel L. Eyas, OAR, the symposium rationale was explained.

The first speaker, Fray Leander V. Barrot, OAR, discussed about Recoletos Values and Charisms in relation to this year’s theme “Recoleto Youth as Catalyst for Change for Nation Building”.

After an intermission number by selected JHS students, a talk on the topic “Leadership and Youth on Social Media Responsibility” was delivered by Dr. Jonathan V. Gochuico, LPT. Mr. Edwin H. Expectacion, SSC-R de Cavite K-JHS Principal, gave the closing remarks.

After the lunch break, delegates sojourned to the Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite where they toured the sights at the renowned historical landmark. The rest of the afternoon was spent in rehearsals for the Cultural Night.
