SSC-R, Manila donates books to Manila Police District

MANILA–San Sebastian College-Recoletos (SSC-R), Manila headed by the School President, Fray Nemesio D. Tolentin, OAR, handed the books to Chief PLt. Leonardo R. So of the Manila Police District (MPD) – District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB) on May 31, 2021 at the school quadrangle. Along with Fray Tolentin were Ms. Mary Grace L. Depalubos, the Sebastinian Community Development and Extension Office (SCDEO) Coordinator and Mr. Hubert M. Capinpin, the Marketing Assistant of the External Affairs Office (EAO) while Police Officer Dennis Dominguez and the rest of the MPD-DMFB Team were with Chief PLt. So.
This book donation is intended for the MPD-DMFB project, “Ang Guro Kong Pulis”, a mobile library which aims to educate out-of-school youth within and around the Roxas Boulevard area. Chief PLt. Leonardo So is grateful to SSC-R, Manila for this book donation. The books will certainly enhance the vocabulary and develop the minds of the learners. Fr. Tolentin hopes that these books will advocate the love for reading and somehow touch and change the lives of the learners.
