SAN CARLOS CITY, Negros Occidental—In a historic up-turn of events, the 75th Commencement Exercises will unite three batches of Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos at the iconic Golden Eagles Football.

CST-R Batch 1972, led by Rev. Fr. Rene Paglinawan, OAR, and CST-R Batch 1997, led by Rev. Fr. Samuel Eyas, OAR, are back in the Alma Mater to celebrate the anniversary of their high school graduation. Together, the two elder batches will applaud CST-R Batch 2022 as the young generation commence their high school life.

CST-R Batch 1972 is the Golden Jubilarian while Batch 1997 is the Silver Jubilarian.

Earlier today, the Baccalaureate Mass was held. Fr. Paglinawan was the main celebrant and homilist.

“There is something that is temporary. There is something that is permanent.” The golden jubilarian reflected on the lyrics of this year’s graduation song “Ride to Life” as he also related with the Visitation of Mary.

Two years after Covid19 pandemic locked down Philippine schools, CST-R is holding commencement exercises in the campus.
