St. Joseph the Husband of Mary celebrates First Patronal Fiesta

CASIAN, Palawan – March 18, 2023 marks St. Joseph the Husband of Mary Mission Station’s first Pastoral Fiesta at Barangay Sandoval, Taytay, Palawan Mission Station.

The festivities started with the solemn procession of the image of St Joseph Husband of Mary at 7:00 in the morning followed by the Holy Mass presided by Bishop Edgardo Juanich, DD.  Joining him in the celebration are Rev. Frs. Louie Gabinete, OAR Ricky John Austria, OAR Virgilio Calalang Jr, OAR and Fr Urbano Galanido Jr., OAR.

In his homily, Bishop Juanich highlighted “Fausto Lachica” made the statue of St. Joseph in the said church. “Ang panloob natin ay nananatili at ito ang tiningnan ng Diyos” at “Wag nating hanapin ang mga bonggacious at hamakin ang mga maliliit” he added.

The event was made memorable because of the participation of the parishioners from Hesus Nazareno Chapel, Barangay Busybees, Taytay, Palawan, San Vicente Ferrer Chapel, Barangay Mabini, El Nido, Palawan and Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria, Barangaly Silanga, Taytay Palawan.

After the holy mass, the Sacrament of Baptism was ministered by Fr. Ricky John Austria, OAR.  A sumptuous lunch was served after the celebration.
