OAR Vocation Ministry Formed and Commissioned Its Pioneering Mindanao Cluster Vocation Lay Collaborators


HINATUAN, Surigao del Sur – Last November 11, 2023, the OAR Vocation Ministry Team conducted a whole day formation program participated by selected lay faithful from the two OAR Communities in Mindanao.

Fray Paul Demillones shared about the mission of vocation ministry, Fray Kenneth Onda talked about the OAR charismatic gifts while Fray Dexter Palagiosa gave a brief history of the Order.

A Eucharistic celebration followed with Fray Demillones as the main celebrant and the friars from the two communities as concelebrants.  

There were 52 volunteers who underwent the formation: 18 from San Nicholas Mission Station of Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur and 34 from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Quasi Parish of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. The event culminated with the blessing and the commissioning of the pioneering OAR Vocation Ministry Lay Collaborators.
