SeMoNoRe welcomes RAY full-pledged members
ANTIPOLO – On the celebration of the Epiphany of the Lord, the community of Saint Ezekiel Moreno Novitiate – Recoletos welcomes 6 youth from RAY de Antipolo as full-pledged members of the Recollect Augustinian Youth. There names are:
– Carla Almeda
– Sarah Almeda
– Anabelle Capecenio
– Joan Basaya
– Alkie John Larga
– Ramon Payanay
The journey began with a meaningful recollection on January 6, 2024 at St. Michael Retreat House. Guided by Bro. Norman Salolog, the candidates engaged in insightful talks titled “Following the Light of the Star,” “What Makes You Move?” and “Where We Are Going.” These discussions laid the foundation for their spiritual journey and illuminated the path they would tread as members of the Recollect Augustinian Youth.
Fr. Joseph Cyprian Panaligan, OAR, further enriched the recollection by exploring the Charism of the Augustinian Recollects. His talk emphasized how the candidates can embody and uphold this charism, guiding them in their transition to full-fledged membership.
The Rite of Admission of the RAY members was presided by Fr. Dionisio Q. Selma, OAR, the Local Prior of the community. The ceremony not only marked the beginning of their membership journey but also served as a solemn promise to live in accordance with the principles and way of life of the Order of Augustinian Recollects as Recollect Augustinian Youth.
The commitment made by the new members reflects their dedication in embodying the charism of the Order. They carry the honor of being the pioneering members of making this commitment. Their promise sets the tone for future members, provide inspiration and solidify their commitment to the ideals of the Recollect Augustinian Youth de Antipolo.
May their journey be filled with growth, camaraderie, and a deeper connection to the profound heritage of the Order of Augustinian Recollects. The entire community celebrates this significant moment and looks forward to the positive impact these full- fledged members will bring to the organization.
