CHEDRO VI AWARDS UNO-R

BACOLOD, Negros Occidental – The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office VI gave seven awards and recognitions to the University of Negros Occidental -Recoletos, Incorporated during the 3rd CHED Regional Quality Awards held at the Urdaneta Hall of the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City, last May 29, 2024.  The awards given to UNO-R, Incorporated are:

*Award for Excellence in Research;
*Award for Excellence in Peace Education;          
*Award for Excellence in Indigenous People’s Education;
*Award for Excellence in Student Affairs and Services;
*Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugds Innovative Awards for Higher Education
*Model Implementor: StuFaps; and
*Recognition for the provision of support to CHEDRO VI endeavors.

                This is in celebration of the Commission’s 30th anniversary and 4th Higher Education Day and aims to acknowledge the efforts and initiatives of HEI’s in the areas of Instruction, Research and Community Extension.  In behalf of the University, the awards were received by UNO-R Vice President for Academics and Research Fr. Romeo Ben Potencio, Jr., OAR, Director of Student Affairs Dr. Dexter Paul Dioso, and Scholarships’ staff Sarah Jane Gayat.
