Strengthening Financial Governance: Operational Planning and Financial Analysis Workshop for the Province of St. Ezekiel Moreno

Tagaste Retreat House, Tagaytay City — The Office of the Provincial Procurator, along with the Commission on Resource Mobilization-Recoletos, organized a meeting and seminar workshop for the heads of the various offices and communities in Luzon—the Offices of the Provincial Curia, Secretariats, Sections, Commissions, Foundations. This event took place on July 9-10, 2024, at the Tagaste Retreat House in Tagaytay City. Participants included representatives from the community of the Provincialate, Recoletos Communication Inc., Bulwagang Recoletos, Canlubang, SSCR MANILA, SeMoNoRe-Antipolo, Urbiztondo, CaReS-Baguio, OLPGV-Tondo, SSCMLA-Convent, Inagawan-Palawan and Pililla. 

The primary goal of the gathering was to implement the 3rd and 4th phases of crafting the CRM-R Manual of Policies and Guidelines. This effort aims to enhance the financial administration of the Province in alignment with the Constitutions and Directory of the Order.

The workshop focused on two main objectives:
1. To inform and educate the brothers and those responsible for the financial matters of the offices and communities about the ongoing process of crafting the CRM-R Manual of Policies and Guidelines.

2. To have a seminar workshop on Operational Planning that will aid the offices and communities in crafting the budget proposal for FY 2024-2025.

This meeting is an important step in fortifying the Province’s financial governance. A strong foundation for the efficient and effective management of resources in line with the Province’s strategic goals has been laid by a seminar through a workshop on operational planning by Ms. Julieta Catipay, PhD, and a lecture on financial analysis by Ms. Sherly Mendoza, MBA, CPA.

The Office of the Provincial Procurator expresses gratitude to all participants and speakers for their contributions to the success of this event. The knowledge and skills gained during the workshop are expected to improve the financial administration throughout the Province of St. Ezekiel Moreno in the future.
