Secretariat of Mission and Ministerial Apostolate Convenes at Talavera House of Prayer

Talavera, Philippines, July 22, 2024 — A significant gathering of the Secretariat of Mission and Ministerial Apostolate was held at the Talavera House of Prayer. The meeting, spearheaded by the President of the Secretariat, Fr. Anthony Morillo, OAR, saw the participation of selected members from various ministerial apostolates across the Province of St. Ezekiel Moreno.

The session commenced at 9:15 AM with an opening prayer led by Fr. Anthony Morillo, setting a reflective tone for the day’s discussions. Fr. Morillo then introduced Fr. Leander Barrot, OAR, who facilitated the crafting of the Manual for the Secretariat. Fr. Barrot’s presentation covered a comprehensive range of topics crucial for the effective administration and evangelization efforts of the Order.

After a lunch break at noon, the meeting resumed at 2:30 PM with Fr. Albert Pellazar, OAR, presenting a suggested Vision, Mission, and Objectives for the Secretariat. Fr. Edgar Tubio, OAR, also provided an overview of the upcoming general assembly scheduled for October 15–17, 2024, featuring talks, sharing sessions, updates, and planning activities.

The meeting concluded at 5:00 PM, leaving attendees inspired and challenged, with a renewed commitment to realizing the goals outlined in the new manual and preparing for the forthcoming assembly.
