FOURTH SUNDAY of ADVENT

Gospel Bullet Points: Gospel: Luke 1: 39-45 (Mary visits Elizabeth)

  • Let us take time to join Mary on her pilgrimage to Elizabeth bringing God’s gift of hope, courage, joy and love. Mary’s visit was an inspiration to Elizabeth. She brought consolation, courage, and joy to Elizabeth’s home.
  • The scripture readings of the Aguinaldo masses indicate that the Son came as a light to remove the darkness, to reconcile the lost, to bring joy to the disheartened, hope to the desperate, courage to the fearful, peace to the troubled, and love to the forsaken.
  • This is what Christmas is all about! We hope that we will find enough time to bring hope, courage, and love to others in preparation for Christmas! Only by doing this can we find the fullness and happiness of Christmas!
