USJR Balamban welcomes Father General
BALAMBAN, Cebu – The University of San Jose Recoletos- Balamban welcomed the arrival of Prior Fr. General and Rev. Fr. Miguel Angel Hernandez Dominguez, OAR.
At exactly 3:00 in the afternoon, all the students gathered in front of the Hikari Building full of excitement while anticipating the guests’ arrival. All students were preparing to wave their green and yellow flaglets, to warmly welcome Prior Fr. General Miguel. As the guests finally arrived, every Josenian’s cheers were full of enthusiasm for them. All the students, including the DBC and majorettes, gave them an amazing entrance.
After the performance in front of the Hikari building, everyone gathered at the quadrangle to welcome and listen to the talk of our beloved guests. In the middle of the program, Ms. Bhenece Estrella gave us an amazing introduction for the event to start. Fr. Raul M. Buhay gave us a warm welcome message as he switched from English and Spanish to be understood by everyone inside the campus. After Fr. Buhay’s heartfelt message, the teachers and students who represented
USJ-R during the ABEI Nite last September 29 showcased their dance to entertain the guest, it was a beautiful and outstanding presentation. Everyone performed their dance gloriously.
After the amazing performance of our beloved teachers and students, Prior Fr. General Miguel then spoke to express himself and his gratitude. After his genuine message and a marvelous presentation performed by Hayley Repton, she sang a glorious song for the students and for the guests called “Easy on Me” by Adele. All the students sang with her, and it was really jaw-dropping to witness her angelic voice. After the performance from Hayley Repton, all the students wanted to take a picture with Fr. General Miguel Angel Hernandez for a remembrance photo with him together.
