In a spirit of compassion and community service, the San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish and Colegio San Nicolas de Tolentino-Recoletos organized an outreach program to support families affected by a devastating fire on February 4, 2025, in Barangay Zone 5, Talisay City, Negros Occidental. This initiative aimed to provide immediate relief to the victims as they begin the process of rebuilding their lives.

The outreach activity was led by the parish and school administration with their personnel who worked together to gather essential supplies such as grocery packs, clothing, hygiene kits, and household materials. Thanks to generous donations from students, parents, and parishioners, in collaboration with ARCORES Filipinas, the initiative was able to assist 57 families who were left homeless by the tragedy.

VAMOS SAN NICOLAS, VAMOS RECOLETOS!
The donated items included 60 grocery packs, boxes of hygiene kits, one box of assorted biscuits, 19 sacks of used clothing and household items, and other essential items. These supplies were delivered to the Talisay Gym, which serves as the temporary shelter for the victims and were received by members of the City Social Welfare Office.

This outreach activity is a testament to the community spirit coming together with love and generosity to bring hope and healing to those in need. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the donors who contributed; may God continue to bless your generous hearts.
