San Pedro Academy opens S.Y. 2018-2019

VALENCIA, Negros Oriental—San Pedro Academy  formally opened the academic year 2018-2019 with fervor and enthusiasm. To set the mood for another academic year, SPA conducted a General Orientation for Grade VII, transferees, and Parents last June 23, 2018.

The community of San Pedro Academy welcomed the new members of the religious administrators. Fray James Dexter Tanquis, OAR, was appointed as the new School Director and Principal;  Fray Enrico Peter Silab, OAR, as the new School Treasurer; and Fray Roderick Deguit, OAR, as Director of Campus Ministry Office.

During the orientation proper, Mrs. Estanislas Alviola, Treasurer of the Parents, Teachers, and Community Association, led the opening prayer. Fray James Dexter R. Tanquis, OAR, welcomed everyone with a warm and inspiring message. The election of officers; presentation of the school rules and regulations, student manual update, grading system and promotion, financial and business matters transpired during the event. Mrs. Merlene T. Cabatingan, the newly elected PTCA President, expressed gratitude for being trusted as the PTCA President. Afterwards, the teachers facilitated the parents for the homeroom meeting. Ms. Divine Love Quibal, Grade XI-OLH adviser, was the lady of the ceremony of the said program.
