San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila
1946
Considered to be the start of the school’s first regular school year despite the fact that if first opened in 1941 and was immediately halted by war.
1947
Construction of the second building with two levels and Gothic architecture.
1951
The third building, also with Gothic style, rose from the ruins of the demolished old convent. A portion of the building is used as the fathers’ convent.
1954
A four-storey edifice was annexed to the second building.
1959
Another imposing building, known today as High School Department, which houses the colleges auditorium, a 1,200 seater equipped with modern facilities, was constructed.
1966
Inauguration of the fifth building, a five-storey edifice which is now shared by the elementary and colleges levels.
1972
Start of co-educational system. The following year the whole collegiate level was made co-educational.
1974
First Collegiate summer classes were offered.
1986
With the High School Department admitting female students, it became completely co-education.
1990
Blessing of new offices and a modern Law Library.
1998
Inauguration of the six-storey St. Augustin Law Building.
2002
PAASCU granted the college Department as accredited status for five years.
2008
The Elementary, High School and Colleges department enjoy the accredited status from the PASSCO.
