The Prior General begins his visit to the communities of Asia
From October 2 to November 30, the Prior General, Br. Miguel Ángel Hernández, will visit the communities of the San Ezequiel Moreno Province in the Philippines, Vietnam, the Mariana Islands and Indonesia. This visit is part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Province whose holder is the former bishop of Pasto and missionary in the Philippines and Colombia.
Before starting the trip, the Prior General stated that he is not going with a prepared speech, but with the intention of receiving, of dialogue, of being told things, of knowing the stories, lives, dreams and longings of the religious of the Province.
On this trip, the Prior General will be accompanied by the Secretary General, Br. Luciano Audisio. In the next two months they will meet with men and women religious, laity, secular fraternities, seminarians, young people of the JAR movement, professors, catechists and collaborators of the apostolic works of the Province of San Ezequiel Moreno. Br. Michelangelo stressed that the objective of this trip will be fulfilled if, upon returning to Rome, he can learn as much as possible about their lives and their work.
During these days, we will accompany Father General from the social networks of the order, with the hashtag #PriorGeneralAsia23 and from this website. We place in the hands of Our Lady of Consolation this journey of the Prior General.
