The San Sebastian Church, the only all-steel church in the Philippines and Asia, stands as a testament to architectural and historical significance. Since 1621, the Basilica has housed the venerable and Pontifically Crowned image of Nuestra Señora del Carmen de San Sebastian, becoming the focal point of devotion at the Basilica. Presently, the church is undergoing an extensive process of restoration and conservation to safeguard its legacy. This initiative is a dedicated effort to preserve this cultural gem in the heart of Manila. Join us for the Solemn Enthronement of Nuestra Señora del Carmen de San Sebastian on January 20, 2023, at 5:00 pm. The event concludes with a Solemn Pontifical Mass by Most Reverend Oscar Jaime L. Florencio at 6:00 pm.
