Formators gather for ‘In Imum Cordis’ Second Edition
Rome, ITALY–About thirty Augustinian Recollect religious, responsible for some of the formative stages, participate in the second edition of the Training School ‘In Imum Cordis’, organized by the General Secretariat of Spirituality and Formation, this time in Rome. The objective is to study how the Church today poses important challenges and how these challenges must be faced with determination from the initial stage to permanent formation of the religious.
The program was formed in an avenue for accompaniment from the desire of God and the Augustinian love; from the passion for life, for Christ and for the Church that defines the Augustinian Recollects; and from the three characteristic wisdoms: Interiority, Community and Church. In its second edition, those attending ‘In Imum Cordis’ will reflect on personal accompaniment, training in families of religious origin, the Augustinian Recollect Formation Itinerary -IFAR- and protection of minors. To do this, they will have speakers with specialisations in the different fields of formation.
Likewise, the Augustinian Recollects will hold a meeting with Most Rev. José RodrÃguez Carballo, DD, Secretary of the Congregation for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life. Attendees began their meeting at St. Peter’s Basilica last Sunday, celebrating the Eucharist in the crypt of the Vatican Basilica, facing the tomb of the apostle. The Training School will run until February 22, 2020.
