Reflection: We are now back to the Ordinary Time of the Liturgy, but as we begin this second part of this season, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity.

What does this celebration mean to us? Our reading this Sunday give us the glimpse of the nature of the Triune God. God is One in Three Persons, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This unity of Three Persons reminds us that unity is what God intends for us, His unity is our goal. But in order to achieve this unity we need the unifying gift of God, which is love that He gives us through the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit. The grace of the Holy Spirit will transform us into a worthy dwelling of God and makes us into the presence of God to others.

May this celebration give us a renewed vision of our being Christians, Catholic at that. We are members of God’s household now through Jesus, may we live lives worthy of being children of the Father, brothers and sisters of Jesus, sanctified temples of the Holy Spirit.
